Courtney F. Chenette is an associate at Morris Duffy Alonso & Faley working primarily with the Class Action/Complex Litigation and Civil Rights practice groups.

Courtney graduated magna cum laude from Hollins University in 2009 and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She received her J.D. cum laude from Pace Law School in 2012 where she was also a Presidential Scholarship recipient, Dean’s Scholar, and the Chair of the Moot Court Board serving on Pace Law’s Federal Bar Association Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court team in Washington, D.C. and Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team in Vienna, Austria.

In 2011, the Pace Women’s Justice Center awarded Courtney the Justice for Women Award recognizing her commitment to providing legal services to survivors of domestic violence. In particular, Courtney served as a student practice advocate through the Pace Law Family Court Legal Program Clinic where she was able to obtain civil orders of protection for her clients in White Plains and Yonkers Family Courts. In addition, she served as a New York University Charles H. Revson Public Interest Fellow at Day One legal services in all five New York City borough Family Courts.

Courtney is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
